Average non-residential building square feet per project decreased to24,260 in 2020, lower than 2019 but higher than the prior three years.
In 2020 Industrial had the highest average square feet from 2016 through 2020, due to only one very large project that was constructed in 2020. Agriculture remained the highest average square feet building type for 2016 through 2020, despite no new agricultural buildings being built in 2020.
