Chester County Solid Waste Authority
The Chester County Solid Waste Authority is the owner and operator of the Lanchester Landfill, which services 49 municipalities in Chester County.

Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA)
The Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA) is a non-profit municipal authority formed in 1968 to provide waste management to 24 member municipalities with over 105,000 residents. The Authority operates the SECCRA landfill, which is located in London Grove Township.
Chester County Solid Waste Management
Through the Solid Waste Management program, mandated by PA Act 101, the Chester County Health Department serves as the coordinator between the County Commissioners and the two landfill authorities (Lanchester and SECCRA). They develop, implement and monitor the Solid Waste Plan for Chester County, which ensures 10 years of available capacity at the two landfills, which receive all waste produced in Chester County.
